We’re going to expand our understanding of ancient world history by taking a closer look at the people and events that led to the emergence of the major ancient civilizations of the world. In this class, we’ll be studying geography in the development and progression of the human story, from the Paleolithic era until the development of the Roman Empire. 早期人类的生活是怎样的？ 他们的经历、问题、成功和里程碑是什么？ 他们如何促进社会、经济和政治进步的发展？  他们在形成和传播有助于永远改变世界的思想方面发挥了什么作用？

Together, we’ll engage our critical thinking muscles as well as our creativity as we consider why, where, and when these ancient civilizations developed, why they dominated their time, and why they ultimately declined or ceased to exist.

Let’s find the link between our contemporary lives and ancient worlds!

七年级：世界历史
We’re going to expand our understanding of world history by taking a closer look at the people, geography, and technological & cultural shifts of medieval and early modern times. 罗马灭亡后人类的故事是怎样的？ 中世纪人类的生活是怎样的？ 他们的经历、问题、成功和里程碑是什么？ 他们如何促进社会、经济和政治进步的发展？  他们在形成和传播有助于永远改变世界的思想方面发挥了什么作用？

八年级：美国历史
We’re going to expand our understanding of the United States by taking a closer look at the people and events that led to the emergence and evolution of what would become our modern way of life. In this class, we’ll be studying geography in the development and progression of the human story, from the time of the American Revolution, up until our involvement in World War I, and beyond! 这些革命者的生活是怎样的？ 是什么导致了宪法的制定，美利坚合众国的创建成本是什么？ 在这段时间里，最值得注意的经历、问题、成功和里程碑是什么？ 他们如何促进社会、经济和政治进步的发展？  他们在哪些方面没有取得这样的进步？ 美国的诞生和发展对现代世界和其他国家的发展有何贡献？
